We, ISMT Ltd. (ISO-TS 16949 compnay) are a member company of Indian Seamless Group, with interest in Seamless Tubes & Bearing Quality Steel bars & are supplying our products all over the world. Our installed capacity is 190,000 MT per annum & our turnover for financial year Apr 2003-Mar 2004 was in excess of US$ 100 million. We started our regular commercial production in 1994. In a short span we have established our process & process parameters & established ourselves as a steel supplier meeting customer expectations in terms of Quality & Delivery at Competitive Price. We manufacture following categories of steels: - Ball Bearing quality steels (GCr15, SUJ 2, AISI 52100, SAE 52100, 100Cr6, SAE 8620, SAE 8617 etc.) - Micro Alloyed steels - Boron steels (94B17 etc.) - Alloy & Alloy Spring steels (SAE / AISI 4xxx, 5xxx, 8xxx, 9xxx, SCM 4xx, SNCM 4xx, SACM 645 etc.) - Free Cutting / Semi Free Cutting steels (Non Leaded Grades) - Carbon & Carbon Spring steels including Manganese Steels Bearing steels manufactured by us have received acceptance with the renowned bearing manufacturers of the world like SKF, FAG, Emerson Power Transmissions (USA), Roller Bearing Co. (USA), Rexnord (USA), NSK (Europe) etc. The steels manufactured, specially Bearing Quality Steels, are extensively used for manufacturing Seamless Tubes with world-wide acceptance. We are also approved by ArvinMeritor Automotive Inc. (USA), Dana Corporation (USA), Eaton Ltd. (Europe), GKN Worldwide. The steels supplied by us in Germany has received acceptance from automotive manufacturers like Mercedes & BMW. We also supply steels to Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Delphi, Mico BOSCH etc in India. The industries catered to are - Bearing - Automotive & auto ancillary - Forging (Hot / Warm / Cold) including bearing ring manufacturers - Seamless tube manufacturing - Textile machinery - Bright bar - Fasteners - Other light & heavy engineering industry All heats produced by us are vacuum degassed and with computerised process controls & shop floor procedures exercised, we are able to manufacture the cleanest steel since we maintain - Heat to heat chemistry consistency - Extra low levels of Inclusion Ratings - Low levels of gas (Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen) contents - Low surface decarburisation levels Our plant facilities consist of: - 50/45 MT. Ultra High Power Electric Arc Furnace - 50/45 MT. Ladle Refining Furnace - Vacuum Degassing - Multiple Radii Continuous Casting Machine, for casting rounds, with auto mould level controller and in mould EMS - Reheating Furnace - Continuous Rolling Mill with 12 stands, coupled with Descaler Our product range is - Cast Rounds : 160, 200 & 225 mm dia - Rolled Rounds : 28 mm Dia to 115 mm dia - Standard Sizes (mm dia) : 28.3, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 39, 40, 42, 45, 48, 50, 52, 55, 56, 60, 63, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 115 (For seamless tube manufacturing, additional sizes available are 125, 135, 137, 150 and as cast rounds 160, 200 & 225 mm dia) - Rolled Rounded Corner Squares (mm across flats) : 45, 50, 52, 55, 56, 60, 63, 65, 70, 75 or any other size in between.
