The food industry has had major difficulties, particularly with shelf life, stability and bacteria levels in and on food. Current sanitising and preserving methods are toxic, resulting in the rejection of produce into many importing countries. Traditional methods of sanitising and preserving produce in the food industry will now be obsolete. GDM Technologies have introduced into Australia a range of sanitising products that will eliminate the use of toxic chemicals. These products are already being extensively used to extend the shelf life and freshness of products in the food industry with outstanding results. The long overdue introduction of Citrofresh provides a new generation preservative and sanitiser which is certified organic by NASAA, A.Q.I.S. approved and it is recognised as a GRAS product by America’s FDA, so safe that it is classed as a food! Citrofresh is completely organic, environmentally friendly, biodegradable and is non toxic. It does not require washing or rinsing from any food, surface or processing equipment and will continue to kill bacteria for up to 48 hours after application. When added to process wash water or ice, Citrofresh will save valuable time and money simply by extending the shelf life of any food product on contact including seafood, fruit, vegetables, meat and poultry. Citrofresh can also be used as a feed additive in the form of Citrofresh Biocite Powder incorporating the same properties as Citrofresh Liquid with the addition of certain Beta Glucans. When SAN-E-FOAM 14F is injected into the water flow of any suitable foaming device, thick stable foam is generated. This foam will remove proteinaceous soils, oils, and fat encrusted soils that are encountered in the food and beverage industry. The dilution rate can be adjusted depending on the contaminant loading. Simply spray on and rinse off after 20 minutes contact time. DERM-E-SAN is a liquid hand disinfectant that has been formulated for the Food, Catering, Hospitality, Hospital and Nursing Home industries. It is hypoallergenic and incorporates Citrofresh as an organic biocide that has efficacy against all pathogens including fungi. It should be used as a sanitiser after washing hands. Effective emollients in the product condition the skin and help to prevent irritation and dryness. CROPLIFE is a nutrient synergist which contains Citrofresh. Used as a foliar spray on all crops and plants, it will improve plant health, increase plant vigour, increase crop yields and will reduce if not eliminate the use of toxic chemicals in the food chain.
