DANYANG CHENGLIAN OPTIC & ELETRICITY CO.,LTD.was firstlye stablished in 1981, it's situated in scenic south yang- tze area—Danyang, where the communicative conditions are conditions are quite convenient, i.e.200 km east by Shanghai -Nanjing Expressway to Shanghai; 60 km west to provincial capital city Nanjing; 20 km south to Changzhou Airport; 20 km nor th to Dagang Harbour—one of yangtze along ports. Spe- cialized in cold-processing of optical lenses and prisms, integrated withproduction, R&D, and trade of optical compo- nents, being the largest manufacturer in China of optical lens (annual output of optical lens reaches 30 million pieces), now our factory ownsfixed assets 65 million RMB yuan, covers area of 15.8 thousand sq. m., and has a staff of 800 people, including 16.6% of technicians. In 1998, our factory realized sales income 150 million RMB yuan, including 8.5m. USD from export income. The enterprise mainly produces lens & prisms to form complete setswith sorts of telescopes and microscopes. The finished goodshave been exported to over ten countries and regions, i.e. Germany, France,Netherlands and USA, etc. The annual export volume is about one million sets, our rate of GoodMerchantable Quality reaches 100%.
