COMPANY PROFILE
Prugger Candidus Company was founded over 30 years ago in Milan- Italy and has always specialised in wooden ornaments for furniture, and architectural decorations.
Mr. Georg Prugger, the owner of the Company, has created a vast line of beautiful decorative objects made of the finest hard woods: a collection of over 1000 different patterns of wooden carvings like rosettes, corners, onlays, shells, capitals, corbels, legs, panels and mouldings.
But the masterpiece of the Company is the PLIABLE HARDWOOD .
This special wood is obtained from squared timber, treated according to a particular process thanks to which it can be easily worked straight ahead as normal wood and bent in a dry and cold state and used for i.e. handrails for stairs, profiles for round tabletops, glass and shirting borders, etc (see our photo gallery).
Thanks to the excellent quality of its products, the successful introduction of several new product lines and with products acclaimed by architects, designers and builders, the company has become an international enterprise, located in Bressanone (BZ), north east of Italy.
