COMPANY PROFILE
BLUE MARLIN S.n.c. has been founded in 1996 with the purpose of producing and commercializing one of the typical Sardinian specialities: the Bottarga (sa Buttariga).
It consists of salted and dried Mullet (Mugil Cephalus) or tuna (scientific name) roe.
It is produced and well appreciated all over the mediterranean area and maybe the Arabs brought it to Sardinia during their conquering voyages;
the bottarga has been developing an increasing gastronomical and commercial interest either by local people or by the many tourists and visitors who find our island a nice destination where to go on holiday.
BLUE MARLIN S.n.c. wants to offer highly selected products which are marketed only after sever quality controls and traditional ageing processes.
The plants are conforming to European Community standards and they are provided of the ministry of Healt Identity Number (1474).
The BLUE MARLIN's Mullet Bottarga, which is commercialized whit the "GARGIA D'ORO"
trade-mark, is available whole and ground, in vacuum packet bags or jags.
